Top 5 Fraternity GPA on Campus - 3.67 Average

Our average GPA last semester was 3.67, with 36 out of 98 brothers earning a perfect 4.0, going well above the Georgia Tech’s overall mens average, 3.53.

We strive to make the Gamma Eta experience one that enhances our brothers’ education. Our brothers pursue degrees in a wide variety of majors in many different colleges; from engineering to management, and public policy to computer science. Our dedication to academics has been a leading factor in earning our record number of awards for best overall fraternity on campus, as well as numerous other awards earned from the National Fraternity. We have worked hard to establish our reputation of academic excellence, and will keep working and continue raising the bar for the semesters ahead.

Many of our brothers excel outside of the classroom as well. Brothers Will Sweet, Scott Schroer, and Alex Roe brought home first place in the 2015 InVenture Prize with their invention Flame Tech. Flame Tech is a "smart grill" that notifies users when their is a buildup of potentially dangerous fumes. Brothers Garrett Wallace and Hailey Brown brought home second place in the 2016 InVenture Prize with the invention Wobble. Wobble is a portable perturbation platform used for diagnosing and treating concussions. Both teams were awarded over $10,000 and a free patent filing with Troutman Sanders.
