The Gamma Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity at Georgia Tech would like to announce the “Joel B. Derry Scholarship.”

It will be awarded to the most qualified males, who will be attending Georgia Tech Fall 2008. For 26 of the last 30 years, Beta Theta Pi has been the top fraternity at Georgia Tech. We excel in not only academics, but also campus leadership, philanthropic service to our community and athletics. Georgia Tech is a very challenging academic institution, and also has a great reputation for developing future leaders. Many of the scholarships offered to incoming freshman are based solely on scholastic performance and test scores. We wish to reward those students who have excelled in extra-curricular activities while continuing their academic pursuits. This includes all clubs, athletic teams, civil, church or philanthropic involvement, as well as leadership in the classroom.
