Georgia Tech, Roll #430

Oliver Bishop was killed on Christmas Day, 1944, when he stepped on a land mine during the Battle of the Bulge. His mother sent his badge to the chapter, and it has been mounted on a bronze plaque as a memorial to all the brothers who gave their lives during World War II. In the old house the memorial hung above the fireplace in the north living room. It now resides in the chapter hall in the basement.
