Welcome to the home page of the Georgia Tech chapter of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. Our website features an in-depth look at life in Gamma Eta's brotherhood.

Among other things you will see, we'd like for you to notice the good times we have, our beautiful house, and the many other things that make Gamma Eta the premier fraternity at Georgia Tech.

Please take time to look at all we have to offer on this website. Whether you're an incoming freshman or current student who is trying to decide if Beta is right for you, or you're an alumnus reflecting on your college years or trying to see how your pledge class is doing-you are at the right place.

Beta Wins its Second Straight Fraternity Flag Football Championship

At the close of Phase I intramurals, fall 2009, our fraternity league 7 on 7 flag football was honored as fraternity league champions for the 2009 season of play. The twelve men that made up the team played a wonderful season beginning with a first place in the Atlanta Area Flag Football Classic, defeating teams from Clayton State, Georgia State, and Georgia Tech to achieve 3rd place overall.

During regular season play, Beta went undefeated in divisional play and entered into the tournament as the #2 seed. After battling through the field, Beta defeated the #1 seed, Phi Gamma Delta (Fiji) to clinch the title in front of one of the largest crowds in intramural history!

Rush 2008 Followup

rush2008.jpg

The Gamma Eta chapter enjoyed a very successful rush in 2008, pledging 32 highly qualified men into the brotherhood. Traditions Night exemplified the culture that we here at Beta enjoyed the past couple of years. The slide show, created by brothers Doug Prechter and Nate Weems, entertained the brothers and guests on the front porch of Lil’ Tara. Come get to know our new pledges as they embark in one of the most exciting times of their lives.

Alumni, we will be piloting a new mentor program for the pledges this semester. If you are interested in becoming involved in this program and live in the Atlanta Area, please contact our Pledge Educator, Jesse Kent, at jesse.kent [at] gtbeta.org or our Alumni Coordinator, John Hanson, at jhanson101 [at] gmail.com.

Wes Loper at Georgia Tech

Our Wes Loper Band Party was a great success Spring 2008. It took place during our annual Beta Lei week long party. Everyone had a great time as can be attested by this video released by one of Wes Loper’s camera crew.
